Introducing the Academy
I have been a competitive Golf Player for over 40 years, starting in 1971 as Junior Captain at Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire. During that time I have gained considerable experience and ability not only in playing but also in the Rules and etiquette of the game. I am a fully qualified Golf Teaching Professional, holding a Teaching Diploma from the European Golf Teachers Federation for which I qualified in 2009. I am currently providing tuition not only to individuals but also to groups of Girls and Boys at a Private School in Essex, necessitating undergoing an Extended CRB check and having suitable Public Liability Insurance cover.
I have a business arrangement at a Driving Range on Mersea Island where lessons can be accommodated, and a similar arrangement with the Maldon Golf Club where practice rounds can be played. Alternatively, amongst my equipment I have a portable Practice Net which means that I can come to you if you have enough suitable space available (approx 8 X 10 ft). Tuition can therefore be given safely in the privacy of your own garden should you so desire. Whether you’ve never picked up a Golf club in your life, you’re a low handicap golfer wanting to improve some aspect(s) of your game, or anything in-between, I will be able to help you. Each lesson is tailored to suit your particular needs, at a date, time and location that suits you.
